Reporting issues

If something's broken, the best way to report it is from inside Solo itself.

How to report

  1. Open the command palette.
  2. Choose Report an issue or share feedback.
  3. Describe the problem and submit the form.

What to include

The in-app form submits the message you enter, an optional email address, and automatic metadata: a device identifier, app version, operating system, OS version, and CPU architecture. It does not attach files or a diagnostic bundle.

Add:

  • The exact command or agent action that failed.
  • Steps to reproduce the issue.
  • A shareable link to a screenshot or screen recording, if you already have one and it would help. The form itself is text-only and cannot upload files.
  • Any unusual release-channel, build, shell, or environment detail that is relevant.

Reproduction tips

  • Reduce to the smallest reproducible case you can.
  • Mention whether it happens every time or intermittently.
  • Include any relevant solo.yml snippet if the issue is config-dependent.
