Todo MCP tools

Todo tools expose project-scoped tasks, tags, blockers, locks, and comments to MCP clients. Enable them from Solo's MCP or notes and todos settings.

Tools

  • todo_create — Create a todo in a project.
  • todo_list — List todos in a project, optionally filtered by status, completion, blocked state, priority, keyword query, tags, sort order, or paginated with offset/limit. Sort values are priority, created-desc, created-asc, updated-desc, updated-asc, completed-desc, and completed-asc.
  • todo_tags_list — List distinct todo tags in a project.
  • todo_get — Read one todo and optionally include its comments.
  • todo_update — Update provided fields on a todo; omitted optional fields are preserved.
  • todo_add_tag — Add one tag to a todo without replacing other tags.
  • todo_remove_tag — Remove one tag from a todo without replacing other tags.
  • todo_transfer — Move a todo to another project. Preserves comments and completion state, and clears blockers and locks.
  • todo_set_blockers — Replace the full blocker list for a todo.
  • todo_add_blocker — Add one blocker to a todo without replacing other blockers.
  • todo_remove_blocker — Remove one blocker from a todo without replacing other blockers.
  • todo_complete — Mark a todo complete or incomplete.
  • todo_lock — Lock a todo for coordinated editing.
  • todo_unlock — Release a todo edit lock you own.
  • todo_delete — Delete a todo.
  • todo_comment_create — Add a comment to a todo.
  • todo_comment_update — Update a todo comment.
  • todo_comment_delete — Delete a todo comment.
  • todo_comment_list — List comments for a todo, optionally paginated with offset/limit.

Notes

Todo locks are coordination aids for active edits. Process-owned MCP locks are released when the bound process closes, so agents should bind their MCP session when they need lock cleanup tied to their Solo process.
