The Actions palette opens the command palette directly on Actions. By default, press Cmd+Shift+K on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+K on Windows and Linux. You can remap or disable Open actions in Settings > Hotkeys.
Use this mode when you know what you want to do, rather than where you want to go.
What it shows
At the top level, Actions can include:
- Available actions for the active project, such as adding a command, terminal, or agent; starting or restarting commands; and opening the project in another app.
- A Show actions entry for each project.
- Application actions such as opening Settings or Activity monitor, adding a project, changing the theme, adjusting font sizes, refreshing the shell environment, sending feedback, or quitting Solo.
Solo only shows actions that make sense right now. For example, start and stop choices depend on the current process state, and agent creation choices depend on the agent tools available to that project.
Drill into a project
Select a project's Show actions entry to narrow the palette to that project. The next view contains project actions plus actions for its commands, terminals, and agents.
Choose Back to all actions to return to the top level.
Search a project directly
You don't have to drill in first. Type a project name, >, and an action or process name:
storefront > restart worker
The part before > can be a full or partial project name. When the palette is searching All workspaces, it can also match a workspace name.
Actions vs. Context
Actions searches across application and project actions. Context actions is narrower: it shows actions for the item or view currently selected in Solo.
If the palette is already open, click Actions in its scope bar or invoke the Actions shortcut to switch modes without closing it.
