Project context menu

Right-clicking a project header in the sidebar opens a native context menu with actions for that project as a whole.

How to open it

  • Right-click the project name or header area in the sidebar.
  • On a trackpad, use a two-finger click or Control+click.

Available actions

Commands

Action What it does
Start all commands Starts commands that aren't already running.
Stop all commands Stops running command processes in the project.
Restart all commands Stops and restarts command processes in the project.
Restart running commands Restarts only command processes that are currently running.
Trust all commands Appears when the project has untrusted commands.
Show lesser-used commands (N) Appears when stopped commands have been marked as lesser used, where N is the current number eligible to show.

These bulk actions apply to managed commands, not to agents or ad hoc terminals.

Project management

Action What it does

Go to scratchpads May appear from navigation-oriented project menus.

Notes

  • Remove project first asks for confirmation. After you choose Remove, a successful removal has no undo: Solo deletes the project record, its managed processes, and associated project-scoped Solo data such as todos, scratchpads, comments, agent coordination state, and, by default, project prompt templates. Files on disk, including solo.yml, remain untouched. You can re-add the project while its directory still exists and is a directory, provided the applicable project and process license additions are permitted.
  • The Move to workspace submenu marks the current workspace and disables it. Choose another workspace to move immediately, or choose New workspace… to enter a name and move the project in one step. If the destination list is too large for the native menu, Choose workspace… opens a searchable picker instead.
  • If the enabled agent-tool list is too large for the native menu, the Agent and Agent with flags submenus show Choose agent…. It opens a searchable picker for the same ready tools.
  • Quick actions like Open in editor, Open in terminal, and Reveal in Finder live on the hovered project header, not in this context menu. Their visibility is controlled under Settings > Sidebar; Open in editor also needs a project editor override or configured default editor, and Open in terminal also needs a configured default terminal.
  • The context menu is built from native system-menu primitives.
