On macOS and Linux, Solo's native application menu provides common actions. The application menu bar is hidden on Windows; use the command palette and native context menus there instead. The application-menu details below apply to macOS and Linux.
- Add a project.
- Open settings.
- Check for updates.
- Start, stop, or restart project commands.
- Act on the selected command, terminal, or agent.
- Use edit, view, window, and help actions.
The Project menu changes based on the current selection. It includes start, stop, and restart actions for the selected project, plus add command, add terminal, add agent, edit project, and remove project.
The selected-item menu changes its title between Command, Terminal, and Agent. Lifecycle actions are enabled according to the selected item's status.
Across platforms, native context menus provide actions for selected commands, terminals, agents, todos, and scratchpads.
Outside Settings > Hotkeys, the Settings and Command Palette menu accelerators follow your custom hotkey settings when the saved shortcuts can be represented as native menu accelerators. A disabled or unrepresentable shortcut removes its matching accelerator. Solo temporarily removes these customizable menu accelerators while you are editing the Hotkeys tab.
