Themes

Solo supports three application theme modes: Light, Dark, and System.

Changing your theme

  1. By default, open Settings with Cmd/Ctrl+,. You can remap or disable this shortcut in Settings > Hotkeys.
  2. Go to Appearance.
  3. Choose your preferred theme mode.

System follows your operating system appearance setting, so Solo switches between light and dark when your OS does.

What changes

The theme setting toggles Solo's application chrome between light and dark styles. The terminal preview in Settings also follows the effective light or dark mode, and running terminal surfaces use the matching terminal palette.

The current Settings UI does not expose a picker for named VS Code-style color themes. The stable user-facing control is Light, Dark, or System.
