# Quick jump

Quick jump opens the command palette directly on **Go to**. By default, press `Cmd+E` on macOS or `Ctrl+E` on Windows and Linux. You can remap or disable **Quick jump** in [Settings > Hotkeys](../keyboard-shortcuts/customizing.md).

Use it to move around Solo without mixing actions into the results.

Solo also treats Quick jump as a lightweight recency list. As you move around, recently visited destinations float to the top, making it easy to bounce back to the project, process, todo, or scratchpad you were just using.

## What you can jump to

Quick jump can find:

- Projects and project overviews
- Commands, terminals, agents, and their section headers
- Todo, scratchpad, and prompt-template overviews
- Searches within a project's todos or scratchpads
- Settings, Activity monitor, and the global prompt-template library
- Other Solo workspaces

The destination you're already viewing is left out. With an empty search, running processes are preferred over stopped processes within their project.

## Search by project

Type any part of a project, destination, or process name. To make the project boundary explicit, use `>`:

```text
storefront > queue
```

This searches for `queue` inside projects matching `storefront`. Partial project names work too.

## Search todos and scratchpads

Each project has **Search todos** and **Search scratchpads** destinations. Select one, then search that collection by title or name. You can also enter a numeric ID to open a specific todo or scratchpad directly.

## Workspaces and deep links

When multiple workspaces are available, Quick jump starts in the current workspace. Press `Tab` or click the scope pill to search **All workspaces**. Results from other workspaces include the workspace name.

You can also paste a valid project, process, todo, or scratchpad `solo://` link. Quick jump shows a **Go** result when the destination is inside the current workspace scope. See [Deep links](../integrations/deep-links.md) for the supported formats.

Use [Focus jump](./focus-jump.md) when you only want processes that are unread or marked as favorites.
